CLEAN AIR SYSTEMS

Save $$$ on air filters

How it works

1. Angled Louvers
2. Rotor
3. Dual (2) Bearings
4. Hood
5. Discharge Port
6. Plenum Chamber
7. To engine with CLEAN AIR

Free engine intake air powers the Enginaire PreCleaner. Incoming air is drawn through the angled louver plates (1) which directs the intake air to turn the stainless steel rotor (2) which is mounted on dual (two) precision ground, sealed, heavy duty bearings (3). The centrifugal force caused by the high speed spinning motion of the rotor, separates the contaminants from the air, throwing them to the inner perimeter of the hood (4) and expelling them out through the directional discharge port (5). The Clean, dry air is drawn into the plenum chamber (6) and then into the engine (7). ....to $ave you Money.

To determine the correct model Enginaire, the following procedure should be followed. If the engine model is not listed or the specifications are different than those listed, such as engine speed, you will need to know the following.
1 - Engine Model.
2 - Cubic inch displacement (C.I.D.)
3 - Operating speed (rpm)
4 - Aspiration (naturally aspirated, turbocharged,
turbocharged and inter cooled.
5 - Outside diameter of the air intake pipe.

The C.F.M. can be calculated by using this formula. The correct Enginaire is then selected by using the specification chart. Match the engine's C.F.M. requirements with the Enginaires C.F.M. range, then reading left to right, considering the intake pipe outside diameter.
This will result in the correct Enginaire model required.

C.F.M. FORMULA

CFM=Cubic Feet per Minute ? CID=Cubic Inch Displacement
RPM=Revolutions per Minute ? Vol. Eff.=Volume Efficiency
