A Technical
Advantage
Engines continuously generate many very small
contaminants that escape current full-flow filter
systems:
- Typically, full-flow filters remove large oil
contaminants, while additional bypass filters still allow
almost all contaminants below 1 micron to remain in the
oil system.
- These particles of carbon, soot and dirt
accumulate and recirculate with the oil, eventually
attacking crankshaft bearings and pistons, causing
premature wear and possible engine failure.
- Alternatively, centrifuge technology removes
abrasive dirt below 1 micron. The entire process reduces
bearing and piston ring wear for overall lower
maintenance costs.
- Reduces manufacturing time and costs to produce Biodiesel from waste vegetable oil (WVO) and other sources.
- Removes solids from Biodiesel and waste oils that would normally cause excessive wear of fuel injection equipment. These sub micron particles can not be removed by regular filters.
