The FF25LE and the FF60LE have the same flow and dimensions as the FF25 & FF60, but are designed specifically for non-engine applications such as Biodiesel, waste vegetable oil, used engine oil cleaning. |
Oil Level Control Base (OLCB) The optional OLCB permits the centrifuge to be installed in any convenient location near the engine or tank. The OLCB controls the oil flow from the centrifuge, back to the engine or tank and ensures the centrifuge reaches maximum speed and efficiency. To accomplish this, the OLCB uses a very small volume of compressed air, approximately 0.02 SCFM. The OLCB is capable of receiving compressed air from any 5 to 400 psig source. If there is no compressed air available, it may be possible to use turbocharger air or air from a positive discharge blower. Instructions for this type installation are available from Industrial Diesel Products Inc. (OLCB Models) |
Gravity Drain-Engine Mounting For gravity drain without the OLCB, the centrifuge must be close-coupled to the engine sump or tank, using an unrestricted drain back into the engine or tank above the normal oil level. A crankcase door, inspection cover, etc. can be modified to provide a suitable oil return back into the engine or tank. |
