Voltage
Control Over-Energizer (VCOE)
These
controls allow single winding solenoids to create the same
high force of a large industrial work solenoid, thereby
reducing space requirements and cost. They create
high-energy pull performance with cool continuous holding
control. Applications include valve actuators, switchgear,
industrial brakes, engines and automation machines.

Current
Regulating Over-Energizer (CROE)
Current
Regulating Over-Energizer Controls use current Pulse Width
Modulation (PWM) creating precise and consistent high-energy
pull performance with cool continuous holding control. This
control allows for constant performance despite industrial
work solenoid temperature changes and voltage supply
variations. The Current Regulating Over-Energizer is ideal
for compact space, offering optimized performance with
compact industrial work solenoids. Applications include
valve actuators, switchgear, industrial brakes, engines and
automation machines.

Force
Regulating Over-Energizer (FROE)
These
controls are designed specifically for high force industrial
work solenoids and allow regulation of this force keeping it
near constant throughout the entire stroke. The control is
maintained through temperature and voltage supply
fluctuations. Applications include diaphragm pumps, brakes
and clutches, especially where a controlled application rate
is desired.

Feature
Enhanced Versions
A wide
variety of enhancements are available to customize any of
the controls. Available options include:
- Universal
voltage capability, which provides uniform industrial
work solenoid performance over a wide range of supply
voltages without special setup or adjustment.
- Optically
isolated control signal inputs to interface directly to
PLCs and micro controllers.
- Added
logic functions such as timers allow monitoring of a
variety of inputs that simplify system
designs.
Non-Solenoid
Related Controls
Trombetta
has the capabilities to develop customized controls for an
unlimited number of non-industrial work solenoid
applications. Examples include temperature-regulating
controls and automatically timed reversing controls used
with fans and mobile or stationary equipment.
