Solenoids - DC Contactors

Industrial Work Solenoid Families page 1
Essentially an electromagnet with at least one moving part capable of completing some useful work. The work output is characterized by limited motion and fast response time.

P500 Family
This robust family of industrial work solenoids offers heavy work capability, high force and stroke. Designed as pull solenoids, the P500 Family offers solutions to meet the needs of the switchgear and valve actuation industries, as well as applications involving packaging equipment, braking, clutching, sorting, locking, cutting, punching, holding and clamping.

Q500 Family
This family is similar to the P500 Family, in that both are robust and industrial designed. The Q500 family products are designed as push solenoids that offer heavy work capability, high force and stroke. The Q500 Family helps to meet the needs of the switchgear and valve actuation industries, as well as packaging equipment, braking, clutching, sorting, locking, cutting, punching, holding and clamping applications.

P600 Family
The P600 Family is a group of pull industrial work solenoids built to withstand high temperatures and high vibration. The coils found on this product grouping are either encapsulated or potted resulting in industrial work solenoids tough enough to withstand a variety of environments. Originally developed for engine and diesel applications this family has proven its flexibility in mobile and stationary equipment, compressors and lawn and garden equipment applications.

Q600 Family
The Q600 Family offerings have the same characteristics and flexibility found in the P600 Family in a push configuration. These industrial work solenoids are highly durable and offer protection from extreme environments. Applications range from throttle control, fuel shutoff and compression release and are also frequently used in generators and over-the-road trucks.

Cable Kit Family
This family offers ultimate flexibility since the industrial work solenoid can be mounted in a remote location thus removing it from environmental hazards. By simply attaching the cable to the load, adjustments can be made to set the stroke to meet your application needs. Applications include fuel shutoff, throttle control, compression release and are also frequently used in compressors and generators.
